Run

Run - Ann Patchett I liked this book. Like others have said, it's not always a believable book, but that's why I like reading so much, it's an escape from reality! There are strong family elements here, studies on the reaction to loss, breaking free from parental expectations and how to react in a crisis. My big complaint is Chapter 8. I don't see the need for the chapter's revelation, but it's a minor complaint. It's interesting how vastly different Ms. Patchett's books are though, in spite of her assertion that her books only involve one subject; what happens when strangers come together.

All in all, I enjoyed the book and zipped through it in a day and a half. I don't regret the time spent!
