Me Before You

Me Before You - Jojo Moyes How would you feel if your life were irrevocably altered to the point where you were entirely dependent on others for your very survival? Would you want to live that way? Should you have the choice of living that way or "putting yourself out of your misery" on your own terms?

This book examines these questions from many different angles. We get the perspective of the Will, the quadriplegic, Nathan, the health care worker, Mr. & Mrs. Traynor, the parents and Louisa (not sure how to classify her). We hear from others as well and we also get a glimpse into Louisa's family life outside of her interactions with Will.

Suffice it to say that I am left wondering how I would react if I were any one of the people in this book. I also find myself wondering how I feel about Will and his choices. I loved the writing style and never felt the book was preaching or making a case for one side of a debate or the other. It felt completely believable and rather quite wonderful!
